PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), a brand holder sole agents Daihatsu cars in Indonesia, starting in 2010 with sales reaching well. And Xenia still number one.
In the first months of 2010 retail sales reached 7933 units Daihatsu, with 15.9 percent market share of the total 50,000 units sold cars in the country.
Total had risen 6.7 percent compared to sales of Daihatsu cars at the end of 2009 last year, which recorded as many as 7866 units.
"The number of sales in the first months of 2010, this is a beginning of a proud and made us even more encouraged to promote a better confidence to the consumer again. We expect good market conditions continue to stay in the months ahead," said Marketing Director, ADM, Amelia Tjandra, in a release received Legal, Thursday (18/2/2010).
Entering the year 2010, Xenia retain the highest sales figures of Daihatsu models and continue to be the top in its class with a market share peraihan for 27 percent of low-MPV class and managed to record sales by 4522 units in January 2010.
Luxio, which is the Daihatsu flagship product in the MPV class too, helped contribute to last month's sales of Daihatsu 451 units.
Daihatsu Gran Max again confirmed their dominance in the commercial class to reach a market share of 37.2 percent at the beginning of the year 2010 or up approximately 2 percent compared to the total in 2009. Gran Max managed to maintain a high sales figures of 1806 units.
While in the small SUV class, Daihatsu Terios in the first months of 2010 was successful print sales figures for 1112 units.
