In mat Geneva Auto Show which will be held next March 2010, Mazda will be displaying a brand-new MPV as their new hero.
Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) was none other than the Mazda5. But the Mazda5 that will appear this time have received refresher on all lines.
"Until now, companies can not decide when the Mazda5 will be sold in the United States (U.S.), but probably in 2011," Mazda spokesman said the United States, Jeremy Barnes, as quoted from Insideline, Saturday (23/1/2010).
He also said it could not provide information about pricing and specifications the new Mazda5 engine.
But some sources said the Mazda5 that will be present in Europe with 2.0-liter engine direct injection is connected with six-speed manual transmission.
There is also a 1.8-liter engine. And in between the two likely have features i-stop for fuel pressure.
In its official statement, the Mazda reveals, this MPV is the first to adopt the Nagare design, inspired by natural beauty. Nagare means flow itself. So Mazda5 inspiration flows from the natural beauty.
This design seems to pull the contour lines of the soft body from Bonet to the back of the car. Everything seemed more dynamic, with no broken curves.
While in the interior, the second row seat MPV is capable mentioned are bent in such a way that could change as a function of storage space.
